Guided Trips

We offer guided fly fishing experiences for every angler, from complete beginners to those looking for a different experience on the water. We specialize in walk/wade trips in rivers and small tributary creeks around the Catskills, Capital Region, and beyond.

All trips with Keepsake Outdoors include guidance and instruction that are customized to your interests and experience level. Half day and full day trips are available from April through October.

Before your trip is booked, we’ll chat with you by phone or email to schedule a date and learn more about your interests, abilities, and level of adventure.

Half Day Fly Fishing

4 hours for 1-2 guests = $300

Each additional guest +$100

Full Day Fly Fishing

8 hours for 1-2 guests = $500

Each additional guest +$150

Deposit

We require a $50 deposit due at the time of booking. The balance will be due on the day of your trip. In the event that your trip needs to be rescheduled due to unsafe river conditions, an alternate date will be agreed upon at the convenience of Keepsake Outdoors, or your deposit will be refunded in full if a cancellation is necessary. Guests who cancel their trips without providing 7 days advance notice will forfeit their deposit.

Equipment

All rods, reels, and flies will be provided for use during your trip. Waders and wading boots are available to rent for an additional cost per person.

Licenses

All guests over 16 years of age are required to purchase a NYS freshwater fishing license for their trip date. Licenses are available in 1-day, 7-day, or annual increments. Licenses can be purchased online at https://dec.ny.gov/regulatory/permits-licenses/sporting-and-use/sporting/fishing-license

Transportation

Travel to and from any fishing destination(s) beyond the initial agreed-upon meetup location must be approved by and coordinated with your guide.
